HOW TO COOK CHICKEN FETTUCINE ALFREDO
Chicken Fettucine Alfredo is an Italian dish served with
chicken and fettucine pasta. I love this dish. I had eaten Chicken Alfredo back
in college and since then I used to eat Alfredo in any Italian restaurant I came
to. I didn’t know how to cook this dish when I was in college but I learned. I
asked my mom how to cook it and she taught me. I have shared with you some
chicken recipes and this time I am going to share with you how to cook Chicken
Fettucine Alfredo. This is my mom’s recipe. Here is how to cook it:
INGREDIENTS:
1kg boneless chicken strips
¼ cup cooking oil
¼ cup margarine
½ cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 cup all purpose cream
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt
1lb Fettucine pasta
PROCEDURE:
- To make sauce, melt the margarine in a pan.
- Add cream and cheese, stir while cooking in a very low heat.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, cook the chicken until brown.
- In a pot, boil water with ½ teaspoon of salt.
- Add Fettucine, and cook until al dente.
- Combine chicken with Alfredo sauce, mix well.
- Put the Fettucine pasta in a serving plate.
- Pour the Alfredo sauce over Fettucine.
- And serve.
