HOW TO COOK BEEF SPAGHETTI




Spaghetti is served with pasta that is made of flour or water. Some pasta are made of Semolina. Spaghetti became popular because of its good taste. Many people learned how to cook spaghetti. Many people know how to cook it on their very own style. There are some versions of Spaghetti that are become known like Filipino style spaghetti, Italian sausage spaghetti, sweet and sour spaghetti, etc. My mom knows how to cook both Filipino style and Italian sausage spaghetti. But I tried to make my own version, here is how to cook my very own beef spaghetti.

Recipe: Beef Spaghetti

INGREDIENTS:

250g corned beef
8 oz. pack spaghetti pasta
20ml tomato sauce
1 small size potato (minced and cooked)
1 tablespoon blacke pepper powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt (in desired amount)
Dried oregano leaves (shredded)


PROCEDURE:

  1. Stir fry the corned beef and set aside.
  2. Mix together all the ingredients (except the pasta) in a pan, mix throughly.
  3. Cook over medium-low heat for about 2 hours, stir time to time.
  4. In a pot, put some water add salt, boil the water, put the pasta into it and let it boil until the pasta is cooked.
  5. Put some cooked pasta in a plate, pour some sauce onto it, and serve.


That is how I cook my own version of spaghetti. You may add some changes to it to make your own version too. Learning how to cook spaghetti is not so hard. Many people learned how to cook it right after their first attempt. So do not be afraid to conduct experiment on how to cook your own version of spaghetti.

Pasta carbonara is one kind of Spaghetti. Others call it “white spaghetti”.  It is also an Italian spaghetti dish which I think was created in the middle of 20th century. This is one of many ways how to cook spaghetti. Although it is an Italian dish, I had my first Spaghetti Carbonara in the Philippines. I had it in a local restaurant and I asked the waiter if he knows how to cook it and he said it was just like cooking the spaghetti I uesd to know. I was really amazed of its taste and I found myself thinking about how to cook it. I look it up in the internet and I found not too many recipes of it. I picked the one which I think was the simplest to cook and I made some changes. Here is how to cook my version of Spaghetti Caronara:
 

Recipe: Spaghetti Pasta Carbonara

INGREDIENTS:

½ kg of spaghetti pasta
2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
200g meat loaf (chopped in cubes)
1 medium size sweet onion (minced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
5 eggs (whisked)
2 tablespoons of parsley (chopped)
Salt
Pepper
Shredded cheese (as much as desired)
1 teaspoon of Yogurt



PROCEDURE:

  1. Cook spaghetti pasta in a boiling water with a pich of salt. Cook until al dente.
  2. Put in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Stir fry the meat loaf.
  4. In a pan, stir fry the garlic and onions until the garlic is brown.
  5. Add the cooked meat loaf into the pan, stir.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and oil, stir.
  7. Add the egg, toss with the fork until eggs are half-cooked.
  8. Add the cheese and yogurt, toss still.
  9. Add salt and pepper according to your taste.
  10. Put in a plate, scatter with chopped parsley and serve.

One kind of spaghetti I really like and common to the people is the Spaghetti Bolognese. My mom taught me how to cook it. I think this is the most favorited version of spaghetti. When I was learning how to cook spaghetti, this is the first thing I thought would be the best to cook. Many people tried to learn how to cook their own version of the spaghetti bolognese and most of them succeeded. You may ask yourself how they cooked their own spaghetti, well it is very simple. First, you must know how to cook the simple spaghetti, then try to figure out which ingredient can be replaced like corned beef for sausage, hotdogs for meatballs. This is my simple recipe of how to cook my own version of spaghetti bolognese. Check this out.



INGREDIENTS:

300g corned beef (you may use sausage)
2 medium size sweet onions (thinly sliced)
80g tomato paste
3 tablespoon brown sugar
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 ½ tablespoon dried oregano leaves (shredded)
1 tablespoon black pepper powder
100ml vegetable oil
2 tablespoon of butter
1kg spaghetti pasta
3L of water





PROCEDURE:

  1. Pour oil into the sauce pan. Fry the onion until cooked.
  2. Add the tomato paste, garlic, brown sugar. Add a little bit of water..
  3. Simmer for 2 hours and stir occassionally. Set aside.
  4. Put some water and salt into a pot, boil, add a little bit of oil and put the pasta.
  5. Simmer until the pasta is cooked or drained.
  6. Put the cooked pasta in a colander and rinse with cold water.
  7. Heat the Sauce one more time and add butter, stir and remove from stove.
  8. Reheat the pasta. Put some in a plate, Pour some sauce on it, and serve while it is hot.

Here is another Italian dish I would like to share with you. Lasagna is a flat kind of pasta. It is commonly served with semolina by the Italians. I knew how to cook it after I went into a food exhibit years ago. I had eaten many kinds of Lasagna for years.  We know how to cook it is a bit hard so I am gonna share with you my simple lasagna recipe. This is very simple and I know you’ll learn how to cook it if you this recipe and you can make your own version of it. Here is how I cook my Lasagna:



INGREDIENTS:

½ kg meat loaf (diced)
1kg of spaghetti sauce
2 cups of cheddar cheese (shredded)
1kg cottage cheese
3 eggs
½ cup butter
2 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt
Pepper
9 Lasagna noodles
½ cup of water
1 tablespoon of oil


BAKING PROCEDURE:

  1. Set a pan In a medium heat. Put 1 tablespoon of oil.
  2. Stir fry the beef until cooked.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with butter, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, Spread about 1 cup of sauce mixture evenly.
  5. Put 3 raw lasagna pasta onto it.
  6. Add 1 ½ cup of cheese mixture evenly.
  7. Add ¼ cup of sauce mixture evenly.
  8. Redo for another layer twice.
  9. Add the remaining 3 raw Lasagna pasta.
  10. Add the rests of sauce mixture and cheese evenly.
  11. Add ½ cup of water in the 4 sides of layers.
  12. Cover with foil.
  13. Bake in oven over 350 degree F for 50 minutes.
  14. And you have it!

See? Now you know how to cook easy Lasagna.

Chicken Fettucine Alfredo is an Italian dish served with chicken and fettucine pasta. I love this dish. I had eaten Chicken Alfredo back in college and since then I used to eat Alfredo in any Italian restaurant I came to. I didn’t know how to cook this dish when I was in college but I learned. I asked my mom how to cook it and she taught me. I have shared with you some chicken recipes and this time I am going to share with you how to cook Chicken Fettucine Alfredo. This is my mom’s recipe. Here is how to cook it:



INGREDIENTS:

1kg boneless chicken strips
¼ cup cooking oil
¼ cup margarine
½ cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 cup all purpose cream
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt
1lb Fettucine pasta



PROCEDURE:

  1. To make sauce, melt the margarine in a pan.
  2. Add cream and cheese, stir while cooking in a very low heat.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan, cook the chicken until brown.
  4. In a pot, boil water with ½ teaspoon of salt.
  5. Add Fettucine, and cook until al dente.
  6. Combine chicken with Alfredo sauce, mix well.
  7. Put the Fettucine pasta in a serving plate.
  8. Pour the Alfredo sauce over Fettucine.
  9. And serve.

I first made a Baked Macaroni years ago back in college. I did not know how to cook it so I conducted some researches. I gathered recipes and tips how to make a Baked Macaroni. My mom didn’t know how to bake it too, that had brought me to conduct researches and I did not fail. I picked the simplest recipe I found and when I got home i started to learn how to cook it. I asked my mom for the ingredients I needed. I was grateful because my mom wanted to learn how to cook it too. I made changes after years and this recipe im going to share with you is I think the most satisfying recipe for me.



INGREDIENTS:

3 cups elbow macaroni (cooked)
2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon all-pupose flour
2 cups milk
½ teaspoon salt
4 teaspoon sweet onion (minced)
1 pound cheese (grated)
Bread crumbs
Paprika



PROCEDURE:

  1. First, make a white sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add the flour to the butter and stir throughly.
  3. Pour the milk and stir throughly.
  4. Add the onion and cheese, stir still.
  5. Cook over medium-low heat until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add salt according to your taste.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  8. Heat the macaroni and pour into a casserole with melted butter.
  9. Pour the white sauce into the casserole of cooked macaroni.
  10. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
