Chinese dishes because they are really delicious. Here is another decent
chicken dish recipe that I want to share with you, the Sesame Chicken. You will
love this dish because it has the taste that you couldn’t explain even though
you know the ingredients and the combination of the sauce and marinade used
plus the taste of toasted sesame seeds add mystery to it. It is like kung pao
chicken but has different taste. You may want to replace other ingredients like
rice wine with dry sherry and it is up to your taste. If you are cost-cutting but
you want to eat tasty dish, I would recommend you to use chicken back instead
of breasts to make it more economical. Here is how to cook Easy Sesame Chicken:
INGREDIENTS
6 pieces chicken breats (cut into chunks)
4 tablespoon of sesame seeds (toasted)
4 cups cooking oil
For the marinade
2 tsp Canola oil
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
4 tbsp chicken broth
4 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp rice wine
4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
For the Sauce
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 teaspoon chili paste or hot chili barbecue sauce
4 tablespoon sesame oil
4 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cups brown sugar
½ cup cornstarch
¼ cup rice vinegar
3 cups chicken broth
COOKING PROCEDURE
1. In a bowl, combine all the marinade together. Mix well.
2. Marinade the chicken for half an hour.
3. In a saucepan, combine all the sauce ingredients and
bring to a boil until the sauce started to thicken.
4. Remove the sauce from heat and set aside.
5. In a deep pan, heat the oil.
6. Deep-fry the chicken until golden brown or cooked.
7. When done frying, transfer the chicken in a serving
plate.
8. Pour the sauce over the chicken and scatter sesame seeds
over it.
9. And serve with rice.
