How To Cook Quick and Easy Won Ton Soup –the way it looks,
Won Ton soup is very tricky to cook and you might even say that cooking this
dish is a waste of time and money. Well, I can say it is not as cheap as other
dishes but it is worth the money because this dish is very delicious and it
deserves the recognition. It is commonly served in fancy hotels and restaurants
so many people who don’t go frequently to the fancy places like those don’t
barely aware of this food. If you are going to look up for its recipe in the
internet, you can find many versions as well as ways how to make this dish. I
am not going to brag about this recipe I am going to share with you but you can
use it to boast about when you have special visitors you invited for dinner.
Here is how to cook quick and easy Won Ton Soup:
INGREDIENTS
20 pieces of Won Ton wrappers
5 cups of chicken broth
½ cup of spring onion (chopped)
water
For the filling
¼ kg of ground pork
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (I prefer mama sita’s)
½ tsp rice wine
½ tsp brown sugar
½ cup of spring onion (minced)
1 tsp cornstarch
½ tsp ground pepper
COOKING PROCEDURE
1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the filling.
Mix well.
2. Put one scoop of the filling on the center of every
wrapper.
3. Fold the wrapper according to your desired shape.
4. Moisten every edge of the wrapper as a sealant to hold it
firmly.
5. In a pot, boil water enough to cover all the Won Tons.
6. Let it boil for 9 minutes.
7. Scoop the Won Tons and drain then set aside.
8. In another pot, bring the broth to a boil. Carefully drop
in the Won Tons.
9. Drop in the remaining spring onions. Add salt according
to your taste.
10. Scoop 5 Won Tons to a serving bowl and serve.
