HOW TO MAKE SASHIMI



Have you eaten a Sashimi before? Do you know how to make it? Are looking for ways how to make Sashimi? Well, this recipe is for you. People who love to eat raw foods must like this Japanese dish called Sashimi. Sashimi is a raw fish dish commonly served with soy sauce or wasabi. The Japanese have many ways how to make it. You can use many kinds of fish when making Sashimi. You can use sea bass, halibut, tuna, etc. In this recipe, we are not going to try how to make it in Japanese ways. I found method how to make Sashimi myself. Here is my recipe:



INGREDIENTS:

½ lb. fresh tuna ( sliced in ½” thick, 1” long)
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil

For soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon ginger (minced)
3 teaspoon sweet onion (minced)
½ teaspoon black pepper
3 pcs red hot chilli (chopped)
3 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce




PROCEDURE:

  1. Wash the tuna with running water for about 5 minutes.
  2. Put into the freezer for 30 minutes.
  3. Scatter the salt and a pinch of pepper over the tuna.
  4. Drizzle with vegetable oil.
  5. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil.
  6. Add the onion, cook until transparent.
  7. Add the ginger, cook for about 30 sec.
  8. Add the chilli, cook for 30 sec.
  9. Pour in the soy sauce, stir, cook for 3 minutes.
  10. Put the into into a serving plate, Pour over the soy sauce.
  11. Scatter with pepper.
