HOW TO COOK PORK INASAL (INASAL NA BABOY)


How To Cook Pork Inasal (Inasal Na Baboy) –Not all of us prefer chicken over pork in cooking dishes but many pork lovers would like to eat Inasal. But the problem is that Inasal is commonly served as chicken dish so I came up with the idea of cooking it using pork instead of chicken. This is not a new thing to us and I know many of us already know about this Pork Inasal dish but for the sake of other readers who barely hear about this dish, I am going to share with you my Pork Inasal recipe and I hope you’ll love it as you love the very famous Inasal Na Manok. This version is not the tricky one, instead I cut the recipe into the easy version to help the beginners to stablish their cooking without getting afraid of what the outcome of their cookings could be. This is how to cook Pork Inasal (Inasal na Baboy):



Ingredients
1 kilo of pork tenderloin (sliced into 8 pieces)
3 stalks of Tanglad or Lemon Grass (crushed)
¼ cup of Calamansi extract
½ cup of Lemon soda like Mountain Dew
4 cloves of garlic (crushed)
2 tablespoon of Achuete seeds or Annatto seeds
½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
Hot chili sauce (chili pepper powder will do)
Oil
Salt to taste

Cooking Procedure
  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for oil and annatto seeds.
  2. Add the pork and marinate for the whole night.
  3. In a pan, fry the annattoo seeds and segregate the oil from the seeds. Set aside the oil.
  4. Drain the pork. Combine the Annatto oil with the marinade.
  5. In a grill, cook the pork side to side. Spread with marinade and annatto oil mixture time to time.
  6. Keep grilling until the pork is cooked and tender.
  7. And done. Best served with Tequila.
