HOW TO COOK HALIBUT CASSEROLE



I have shared with you my Tuna Casserole recipe and I said there are many ways how to cook casserole. In this recipe, we are going to cook it but instead of using tuna, we are gonna use Halibut. Casserole is a French dish but you can make your own recipe even if you are not a French. Just do not be afraid to experiment. I made this recipe two years ago. Learning how to cook casserole is very easy. I am going to share with you how to cook my Halibut Casserole. Here is my recipe:




INGREDIENTS:

50g macaroni
1 medium size onion (minced)
200g cooked Halibut (diced)
2 eggs (whisked)
2 cups Edam cheese (shredded
1 cup carrots (thinly sliced)
12 oz. canned tuna
500ml heavy cream
1 cup canned young corn (sliced)
½ cup all purpose flour
Oil




COOKING PROCEDURE:

  1. Cook macaroni in a pot of water for 10 minutes or until drained.
  2. Preheat the oven to 420 degrees F.
  3. Mix macaroni, onion, 1 cup cheese, flour, carrots, Halibut, milk and young corn.
  4. Drizzle baking pan with oil.
  5. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and scatter with the rest of the cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
  7. And serve.
