HOW TO COOK CANADIAN POUTINE

HOW TO COOK CANADIAN POUTINE

Poutine is a Canadian dish which is actually the Canadian version of French Fries. It is usually served with cheese curds with brown sauce. It is not hard to find out how to cook Poutine and it is not hard to cook it as well. Poutine is originated in Quebec and the travelers brought it to other parts of Canada. The way how to cook it by the Canadians is not different from the way people from Quebec cook it. But there are few versions of it these days but I don’t know how to cook the other versions of it. All I know is how to cook the traditional Poutine of Canada. Here is the recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

200 grams beef gravy
Vegetable oil
6 medium size potatoes (cut into fries)
100 grams white cheese.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over 190 degree C.
  2. Put the fries into the hot oil, cook until brown.
  3. Roll the cooked fries in a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  4. Put the Fries in a serving plate.
  5. Scatter with grated white cheese.
  6. Ladle the gravy over the cooked fries.
  7. And serve.
